BROGFest 2014 commences in a few days! This is one of two events I help to organize and since it focuses mainly on historical themed games and wargames, it is probably my favorite of the two! BROGFest was started by long time game designer, Richard Berg as way to bring friends together to play some games. Today, we call it self promoting or shilling!

In the summer of 2012, Richard announced he was no longer going to host the annual event I had come to know and love so, what’s a grognard to do? What else? I decided to partner up with Richard to keep the event going. BROG 2013 was a good year with lots of new faces, but 2014 is shaping up to be bigger and better. BROGfest, by its very nature is a casual event without all the hoopla of a full fledged convention. Having said that, we know how to fill four days full of gaming; from early in the morning until late in the past midnight hours!

I am going to try to blog throughout the event, but suspect it will be a huge challenge! None the less I will try!
