Yesterday, at Contessa’s Spring Break gaming weekend, I got the chance to finally play two games I had been wanting to try for a very long time. In fact, I owned both of the core rulebooks for these games for quite a long time. First up was Night’s Black Agent followed by Trail of Cthulhu, both by Pelgrane Press.
Both games were a blast, even though they were only an hour in length. The were high energy, higher action and in one case, deadly! That’s the nature of one-hour demos, but it sure did whet my whistle. I need to play more in the very near future.
Today, as I write this entry, I am getting ready to play in my regular bi-weekly game of Labyrinth Lord. Can you believe this will be session 25? We started in February or March 2014 and have been going strong ever since; a few hiccups, but that’s to be expected with players from all over the globe. Sadly, we don’t record these sessions. Now I am off to play…
