I have added another convention to my fall line-up! I will be adding MACE Convention in Charlotte, NC this coming November. I have known the two primary organizers for a number of years and look forwarded to attending their event this year. What makes this year so special is that this is their 20th year in operation! These folks always run an awesome event that focuses heavily on attendee satisfaction and overall experience. It’s all gaming, all the time! If you want it, they will have it and they always have a great lineup of game designers and authors in attendance.
If you are attending or thinking about attending MACE, please let me know. I am going to organize a meetup of Rolling Boxcar fans and anyone else who wants to hang out chat, game or whatever strikes our fancy. I will most likely run a few RPG sessions so, keep an eye for those if you are attending.
If you’re a game designer or RPG author and you’re planning to attend, I would like to know. I will be looking to set up some interviews with convention guests.

Greetings , Modoc!
I represent one of those Game Designers you asked about, as I am a part of NSB games, makers of Hull Breach!, a science fiction, space-based tactical card game. Mace 20 is where we are launching our third box set of Hull Breach!, In Defiance of Dictators. We would love to hear from you about meeting, either at Mace or even before. You can reach me at the Email above. Hope to hear from you soon!

Todd,
Thanks for the post. We have indeed met a few years ago at Storm-Con in Charleston. You may recall, I was one of the organizers. I’ll make it a point to connect with you at MACE.

Paul,
Hope to see you there and see you around the local gaming scene. Hopefully, you have connected with the Charleston Area Wargame Scociety (CAWS) and the Charleston Area Gamers (CAG). Those are your best sources or starting points for local gaming.
